Atkins Elementary

We recently had our Scholastic Book Fair in the Atkins library during elementary conferences. This is an exciting time of the year for students. Students are always asking when the book fair will be here and when the book fair will be here again. Students have an opportunity to come in and shop at the book fair before school and during recess. The book fair is also open for parents to shop during conferences. Students love to come into the book fair and look around at all the options. The parents and students do a great job at the book fair helping to support our school. The school gets 55% of the profits to purchase books for the library and the classrooms from the book fair. We choose books for the library and the classroom based on what the students are interested in.
