Benton Community has one of the lowest tax levy rates in Iowa. BC has the lowest rate within our immediate area. Even with a levy increase with the VPPEL, Benton Community would continue to have the lowest rate in the area.

The priority areas the board plans to address with the funds are listed below. * Safety and security enhancements at all of our attendance centers. * Upgrade HVAC systems in all of our attendance centers. * Enhancements to indoor learning environments. Examples could include flooring, wall coverings, ceilings/lighting, electrical, ADA accessibility, and more. * Complete outdoor renovations to all attendance centers.
